Hi, I'm Karen Thomson

Having studied psychology, and with a 30-year clinical research background, along with qualifications and experience in many healing modalities, I have a passion for making my own life - and the lives of others - the best it can be.
My best life takes the form of spending quality time with my partner, dog, family and friends, playing golf, travelling, and singing in a choir. I love to be surrounded by beautiful scenery, gorgeous interiors, eating fabulous, healthy food, and to feel the warmth of the sun. I live in the wonderful city of Edinburgh in Scotland, and conduct Zoom sessions worldwide.

I've had my share of difficult times and found my way out of them, feeling stronger and more invincible on the other side. My view is that the difficult times arrive as lessons to help us grow; we can either react in our usual way, and stay the same - which usually means the issue will return over and over until it is healed - or find a different way to deal with the issues, and move past the lesson. As Einstein said; "We cannot solve our problems with the same level of thinking that created them".

The ultimate aim, I believe, for most people, is to find contentment and peace, in whatever form feels right for them, but we can't always achieve that on our own; we need people we can trust. We can be surrounded by friends and still feel lonely and have no-one to talk to about our thoughts or our world views that those close to us do not share. I am here to help you with that.
